Horseshoe Classics - 3 in 3 days - South Lakes

Walk 3 classics in 3 days – a fabulous challenge, not for the feint hearted! Our expert guides have fabulous knowledge of the area, its secrets, stories and local knowledge. These epic days are some of the most sought after in the Lake District. Each of these routes involve walking on good trails, but some ground will be technical along the way. Guidance can be given on technical parts, but there should be a good understanding on the typical Lakeland terrain before embarking on this guided walking break.

  • Kentmere Horseshoe - 22km & 1250m ascent
  • Fairfield Horseshoe - 16km & 1100m ascent
  • Langdale Horseshoe – 21km & 1800m ascent or 15km & 1300 m ascent

Cost: £210 per walkerbased on a minimum of 6 walkers (quote for fewer walkers on request)

Silver 2 day NNAS Certificate - Intermediate Level Navigation - Ullswater

Take your navigation to the next level. Understanding the jump from course navigation to fine navigation, and the tools in order to do so whilst on and off trail on slightly technical terrain. Gold 2 day NNAS Certificate - Advanced Level Navigation - Ullswater

Demonstrate good use of Bronze & Silver level navigational tools, and move to fine contour detail for navigating inhospitable ground, off the beaten track, in potentially tricky weather conditions. Navigation skills must be well practiced for moving in featureless terrain. We share the techniques discuss route choices, perfect practice for heading out with friends or partnering up on Mountain Marathons...
