Your days in the fells will be tailored to you and your friends. All our walking days and multiday walking breaks are guided with our superb team of qualified Mountain Leaders who are a fountain of knowledge of the Lake District valleys and fells. We are all passionate about our area and hope to share this with you alongside our own tales of the fells. Please browse through our one day adventures and walking breaks to be tempted into something a little bit different... some of our routes will not be found anywhere else as they are designed by our lead guide and inspiration behind Hiking Highs, Nicky Sproson.
When booking with us, we discuss which route would be best of your group based on previous experience in the outdoors and fitness levels of the group. Your day could be split, some walk the valleys whilst others head high up into the Lake District mountains so everyone enjoys their day out to the full.
Hiking Highs are here to make this YOUR adventure!
The Hiking Highs team joined The Running Poles UK Team last weekend. Thank you to our helpers; Millie, Martin, Simon & Chris who were kept busy every minute of the show from the doors opening to door closing! The show was a huge success, with folk being inspired to learn new skills on the fells. Many are keen to join our navigation courses, others want to feel safe with a guide into the Lake District Mountains, which we can provide. Selling our Leki Nordic Walking, Trekking and Running poles was a great hit on the stand too. Our sister brand Mountain Run is always promoted alongside Hiking Highs for those wishing to step up a pace with their skills. I think our week-end team converted many into taking poles into the hills from now on, whether walking or running. We also teamed up with Dexshell whilst at the show, and the team will be using their range of Waterproof socks, hats and gloves whilst out with clients now. We met so many fabulous people, all with a story to tell... one lady inspired us most of all - Blind Lady Walking - another Nicky. She will be hiking from the Shetland Islands to the Silly Isles unsupported and would welcome anyone to join her along the way, so please do follow her travels from 1st April 2023 - blindgirlwalking on Instagram... aka Nicky Button, we shall be watching you with keen eyes and cant wait to entertain you in the Lake District Fells after yours journey down the country ends. The Support from Leki UK was invaluable - Thank You! We will be back next year... a show not to be missed.
