Bespoke Navigation Day
Whether starting your navigation journey, wanting to learn new techniques, brush up, or perhaps wishing to be assessed for which NNAS certificate you should aim for... our experienced coaches can fulfil your requirements with a fabulous day out on the Lakeland fells, whatever the weather.
Mixing navigational theory and practice, we will work with a range of maps to practice skills and learn to read the terrain around our Lake District base. The course will be pitched to match the experience of the group, and we will cover:
- How to navigate in the valleys or mountains, on the move or at a slower pace
- How to relate what you see on the ground to what you see on the map
- Top tips and tricks from your experienced coaches
Our experienced NNAS coaches can also help you decide which NNAS level you could work towards.
One-day bespoke course: £195 for first navigator, £50 for each additional navigator
