Langdale Valleys via Blea Tarn

A tour of both Great & Little Langdale valleys, passing Blea Tarn, which is tucked in at the foot of the infamous Rwynose Pass. The hike continues towards Little Langdale before popping over Elterwater & returning up Great Langdale.

Starting from Stickle Gyhll Car Park at the heart of Great Langdale, with the Langdale Pikes towering above us, we will head over to Blea Tarn. The path rises steeply out of Great Langdale, this being the only big ascent during your adventure. Weaving around the tarn in the shadows of Pike of Blisco we will head towards Little Langdale Tarn before returning via Elterwater and the slate quarries. From here we return up complete Great Langdale Valley iwith views of Crinkle Crags and Bowfell. A glorious hike for those keen to explore.

Half day hike £150 for one walker + £30 each additional walker

Done several walks with Nic. She is very quick to see and adapt walks to peoples abilities. Also very knowledgeable about the area and would recommend walks with the company

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Louise for the wonderful experience we had on Tuesday. It couldn’t have a nice day or guide for that matter.
We will definitely be back later this year. I’m so glad we booked with you, it felt like a very safe abs experienced pair of hands!
